Woodwind Assistant

Brayden Gilliam is currently the woodwind assistant at Tennesee High School. He also assists other local high school bands in the Northeast Tennesee and Southwest Virginia region when not at Tennesee High School.

Brayden is an East Tennesee State Univesity student studying for his Bachelor's in Instrumental Music Education. At ETSU, he has had the honor of performing in ETSU's Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Marching Bucs, and more. Along with this, Brayden also takes pride in serving as the President of the ETSU Woodwind Society. His main instrument is the saxophone.

In high school, Brayden was privileged to place in the Virginia All-State Band and march in the Macy's Great American Marching Band. Because of those opportunities, he was motivated to dedicate his life to inspiring future generations through music.

Outside of teaching, Brayden writes songs and enjoys time with family and friends.
